Are You Too Young, Or Old To Start A New Business?

Among the many excuses for not getting that start up off the ground are being too young or too old to start a business.

This is perhaps the weakest of all reasons not to start your own venture and follow your dreams. Think you are too young? Look up Adora Svitak, a twelve year old who has published two books, had become a public speaker, has been featured in the news and has her own website. Too old? Just look at Kentucky Fried Chicken and Colonel Sanders who really didn’t get the massively popular KFC brand going till he was 62 years old!

You are never too old to go out on your own and likely the look of experience will give the impression that you are a seasoned expert in any industry you dive into. If you are young and don’t think people will take you seriously or don’t feel you know everything you need to yet then hire an experienced team.

It is your passion for what you are doing that will make you a great leader and even have those with decades more experience in your industry following you and wanting to be a part of your team. So stop making excuses and get out there to win it!
