Excuses VS Action: What’s Holding Back Your Startup?

Are doubts and excuses holding you back from launching your own business?

Benjamin Franklin once said “He that is good at making excuses is seldom good at anything else”.

What if you spent all of the time you did doubting your desire to start your own venture or if you can really make it work actually figuring out how to get around those obstacles? Not sure how to attack a certain challenge or get over a specific hurdle? Why not get out and network with those who have already done it? Define what you need to learn or do to make your business idea a success and get out there and do it.

It is good to listen to some of the warnings your mind sends you, but being paralyzed by these fears is not. Isn’t it better to try and have the opportunity to fulfill your dreams than to hide under a rock and regret it for the rest of your life?

Vincent Van Gogh, put it like this, “If you hear a voice within you say ‘you cannot paint,’ then by all means paint, and that voice will be silenced”.

So what is it that you are afraid of? Attack it now. Then everything else will be easier.
